Do you take Insurance?

If you have out-of-network healthcare benefits, I will help you secure reimbursement for professional services provided.

What about confidentiality?

Confidentiality is the most important part about the work of mental health care and is also protected by the law. Information will only be released upon written permission by the patient. However, there are a few instances, which are rare, but mental health care professionals have to report information and/or are required by law to take action:

  • Insurance companies require basic information with a diagnostic code if you choose to seek reimbursement.
  • If you want to harm to yourself or someone else. In this case protective measures will be taken including safety planning, notifying any potential victim(s), and notifying the police).
  • Reporting potential child, elder, or dependent abuse.
  • Legal testimony if subpoenaed/ordered by a court.
  • Assisting in accessing services if a patient is unable to meet their basic needs (including food, clothing, and/or shelter) due to a mental illness.

Is therapy right for me?

Life is full of stressful situations such as divorce, the loss of a loved one, or even a career change. As a human being, sometimes we find that we might need help dealing with anxiety, fear, depression, low self-esteem, relationships, or addiction. Therapy offers a method to explore yourself and helps to create a clear strategy to get you to work on becoming your best self. Whatever your goals are in life, they can be achieved when you are ready to make a positive change.
